Do you have much experience in the realm of Tritium lighting? It does not require an AC connection or battery pack and can provide 20 years of light.

I found some here http://www.emergencylights.net

The only problem is the government requires you to recycle your tritium at the end of its lifespan.

This is really cool. I have been looking for a place where I can learn more about lighting design in York, PA. Does anyone know if there are any classes or workshops there that I could attend?

Those are really cool! I agree with the assessment in the article that we need more ways to market to poor people, not necessarily build more cheap designs for light. We need ways to get those to the poor people. Those are pretty good starts!
